Sustainability and traceability are words that are commonly used in the cocoa industry, and they can have a variety of meanings, just like the terms all natural and good fats. Sustainability programs in cocoa have had a somewhat controversial history, stemming from issues such as child labor, low prices and politics, all of which still have a strong influence on the structure of the cocoa industry today
