Type: Conference Proceedings
Price: $0.00

Description

Presenter: Pamela Gesford, Colorcon

Soft panning has been around at least since 1861 when William Schrafft advertised jelly beans in a newspaper in Boston. Since then, the number of products made with a softpanning process has dramatically increased. Even though many people think of only the jelly bean as being soft panned, there are many other new and old products made with this process. Before discussing the type of products made this way, the ingredients used, the process itself and the relationship between center and shell, we will discuss the terms used.
